Dr. Meghan Collins DAc, MAc-CHM, Lic. Ac, practices acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in the Scarborough location. She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Health after completing dual Master's degrees in Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chinese Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She holds national board certification in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine through the NCCAOM.
Prior to her advanced studies, Meghan earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She has provided care in a wide range of settings, including hospital-based integrative medicine programs at the Veterans Association Medical Center in Bedford, MA, and Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA. Meghan is passionate about making acupuncture accessible, with experience in community-style clinics as well as private practice settings.
Originally from Massachusetts, Meghan recently returned to New England after practicing in Colorado. She is excited to bring her training and integrative approach to the Greater Portland community.
When she isn't working, Meghan enjoys discovering new music, attending concerts, crocheting, exploring the outdoors, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes. She also values time with her family, friends, and partner.
