    Jonathan Emlet

    Dr. Jonathan Emlet graduated Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.  He was honored to be selected as the Clinical Science Division award recipient in his class.  Dr. Emlet received his Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University graduating with high distinction.

    Dr. Emlet's undergraduate studies were completed at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  He received his second Bachelor of Science degree in Life Science from Logan University.

    Dr. Emlet is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the Maine Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractors Association, the International Chiropractors Association Council on Wellness Science, and the American Chiropractic Association.  He is also a regular contributor to the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress.

    Dr. Emlet complements his chiropractic expertise with a background in neurology and has been recognized by The International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology as a Diplomate. The chiropractic neurologist deals with the definitive diagnosis and subsequent management of conditions afflicting the human nervous system.  Dr. Emlet has also completed the International Chiropractors Association's postgraduate wellness certification program, which encompasses the physical, bio-chemical, and psychological dimensions of the wellness lifestyle.

    Dr.Emlet is active in research and has published in The Journal of Chiropractic Education, The Journal of the Federation of the American Societies for Experimental Biology and The Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics.  

    Dr. Emlet is an avid outdoorsman.  He successfully completed a through hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2005 and a coast to coast cycling trip in 2008.  When not playing outside with his family, Dr. Emlet enjoys speaking on the topic of chiropractic health care and educating his patients about true health and wellness.  Dr. Emlet lives in Standish with his beautiful wife Jen and their daughters Nora and Linay.  Jen is a Portland native and graduate of McAuley High School. She is an occupational therapist and strives to turn her husband into a 'true Mainer'.
